Eva Marie Jankowski

Eva Marie Jankowski, 73, of Bethlehem died Friday March 7, 2008 at the Old Orchard Manor Care Health Services in Bethlehem Twp. She was born on December 11, 1934 in Nazareth, Pa. daughter of the late Charles and Anastazia Pello Mitch. She was the wife of the late Richard R. Jankowski who died in 2005.

Eva was a registered nurse working for Lancaster General Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown in the recovery room retiring in 1999. She was a graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1956. Eva was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp. She was actively involved in the Parish Nurse and Hot Lunch Program and also enjoyed nature and the outdoors.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bryan Jankowski and Sharon Lobb of Plainfield Twp., daughter Jane wife of Blaine "Buck" McWilliams of Bethlehem Twp., brothers, Nicholas of Nazareth, John of Coplay, Charles of Wind Gap, and Stephen of Moore Twp., and sisters, Frances Vogel and Christina Dlugos both of Nazareth, and Stephanie Lynch of Ridgewood, NJ.

She was predeceased by a brother Michael Mitch, and a sister Anne Myslinski.

Services will be held Tuesday March 11, 2008 at 9:15AM at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020. Calling hours will be from 7-9PM Monday evening in the funeral home. Burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
