Eva Tertusek

Eva M. DeAngelis Tertusek, 81, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Hospice House of St. Luke's.

She was born November 13, 1927 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Selvaggio DeAngelis.

Eva is survived by her husband Joseph Tertusek of Bethlehem.

She worked for the Wood Co. at Lehigh University.

Eva was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joseph; daughter Sandra M. Hari of Bethlehem; son Michael J. Chickey husband of Eve of Bethlehem; brothers, Ralph of Bethlehem, Samuel of Nevada and Albert of Bethlehem as well as her sisters Loretta Thoder of Bethlehem and Delores DeAngelis of Florida. Eva is also survived by her grandchildren, Thomas Ackerman, Dion Chickey, Gina Dixon, R.N., Danielle Hari, M.D. and Jess Smith; as well as seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Eva was preceded in death by her first husband Walter D. Chickey, her brother Carl DeAngelis and her son-in-law John Hari.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 8-9:30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 10AM.

Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
