Evangeline Stiros, 78, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Alexandra (Zozos) Fournaris. She was the loving wife of Helias Stiros; they were married 60 years. She dedicated her life to her family and was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Bethlehem.
Evangeline will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Helias; daughter, Dori wife of Cosmo Cosenza; sister, Angie Fournaris; grandson, Paul Cosenza and his fianc Jocelyn; nephew Paul Petrakis; and nieces & nephews in Greece. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Stiros.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18 at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem. Viewing hours, Tuesday, February 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem with Trisagion Service at 8 p.m.; and on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Cathedral. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Cemetery, Allentown.
