Evelyn D. Asber

Evelyn D. Asber, 87, of Bethlehem passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, Pa. She was born on February 26, 1925 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Anthony and Victoria Veanus Urban. She was the wife of the late George Asber who died on November 27, 2002. They were married in 1946.

Evelyn was a part-time waitress at Theresa's at 5th and Filmore St., Michaels, and the Blue Anchor. She loved to play bingo, and watch game shows on TV. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Georgene Blizniak wife of Brett and Gail Bresnak wife of Robert both of Bethlehem, granddaughter Angela Moszer wife of Gary of Bethlehem and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Friday April 13, 2012 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A viewing will be held from 10-11AM Friday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
