Evelyn J. Skurla

Evelyn J. Skurla, 86, of Allentown, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Baran) Pribulka. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Skurla who died in 2005.

Evelyn was a line worker for the former Champion Spark Plug, Hellertown. She was a member of the Cathedral Church of Saint Catharine of Siena, Allentown, and was an avid bowler for many years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kathy Skurla Koren; granddaughters, Jennifer, wife of Jed Leonard and Stacy, wife of Eric Rittenhouse; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jessica, Jacob, Madison, Abigail and Corinne; and sister, Mary Marich. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert and Andrew.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. An 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 15th at the Cathedral Church, 1825 W. Turner Street, Allentown. A visitation will be held in the church from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
