Evelyn R. Sedora

Evelyn R. Sedora, 88 of Bethlehem, Pa. died Saturday Jan. 17th at Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg, PA. She was the wife of the late John Sedora who died in 1992.

Born in Graytown, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Otto and Frances Modrakowski Lieske. Raised in Marblehead, Ohio she moved to Bethlehem in 1946.

Mrs. Sedora was a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Bethlehem where she was the founding parish secretary and worked for the parish from 1963 to 1977.

She had been the past president of The Sodality at St. Joseph's Church in Marblehead, Ohio and a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbus, Ohio.

Prior to becoming a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish she was a Past President of the Sodality at Anne's Church in Bethlehem, Pa.

She will be dearly missed by her son John K. and his wife Jazmina Roman Sedora of Bayamon, Puerto Rico and their children Daniel and Neda. She is also survived by her sisters; Mrs.Dorothy Stubbs of Santa Rosa, Calif, Mrs. Norma Mingus of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Erna Kachelein of Garden City, S.C. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Eva Dress and Esther Ontko

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday Jan. 23rd at 11:00 a.m.in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Bethlehem 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem Pa.

Visitation will be on Thursday evening 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Connell Funeral Home

245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. and on Friday 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pa.
