Florence Hoffman, 95, of Bethlehem passed away at home surrounded by her family. Born July 10, 1920 in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late Martha (Evans) and Wesley Castles. She was married to the late Harry R. Hoffman for 51 years until his death on August 4, 1993.
Florence dedicated herself to loving, caring and providing for her family. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem.
Florence will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda Clemens (Joe) and Marti Olney (Randy), grandchildren, Curt Clemens, Jason Olney (Kaylee), Jocelyn Vlach (Nick) and Beth Gallagher (Mike), great grandchildren, Allison and Mika Olney, Daniel and Joseph Gallagher, and Brandon and Amy Vlach, nieces, Jane Stahurski and Patricia Carle and nephews, Thomas Creedon and David Carle. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Stahurski and Gertrude Creedon and a niece, Joan Stahurski.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10-11:30 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in Florences name to the Alzheimer's Association 617 A Main St., Hellertown, Pa 18055.
Florences family would like to thank the staff of Country Meadows Connections Unit, Allentown for the loving care given to her during her stay.
