Florence T. Snell

Florence Snell (Romanski), of Allentown, formerly of Archbald, died Saturday, April 23, with her

two daughters at her side.

Mrs. Snell was born in Dupont and graduated from Archbald High School in 1949. She married

Luke Snell on April 27, 1957 and was married to him for 56 years at the time of his passing in

2014. They moved from their home in Archbald to Westminster Village in Allentown in 2007.

She was a loving wife and devoted mother to Lori, wife of Kevin McDonald, and Lynn, wife of

Brian Regan, cherished grandmother to Michael, Leanne, Kevin, Kerry, and Shawn, greatgrandmother

to Lillian, dear sister to Edward and Mary Ann, and loving aunt to several nieces

and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her beloved granddaughter Amanda, brother Jackie,

and sister Alice.

She worked various jobs as a nurses aide and seamstress and was very involved in her

children's activities. Her family especially loved her homemade pies.

A viewing will be held at Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 411 Church St.,

Archbald, PA on Wednesday, April 27 (their wedding anniversary) from 1:00-2:00 p.m., followed

by a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Eynon, PA.
