Frances C. Doling passed away at St. Lukes Hospital on Tuesday, May 17th. Born in Bethlehem on July 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn and Walter Pianowski. She graduated from Liberty High School and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant, during the Korean War. Frances worked as a secretary for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. On her retirement she continued for over 40 years as receptionist and bookkeeper at the law firm of Riskin and Riskin. She had an artistic flare and enjoyed painting and gardening. Frances main passion was travel and she always sought exotic destinations. Her final trip was to Poland her ancestral homeland. Her imagination remained her greatest asset. Even in her 80s she maintained the ability to see past the everyday and invent a more glamorous, spellbinding reality.
