Frances C. Eckhart

Frances C. Eckhart, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 25, 2022 at Bethlehem Manor.

Born on January 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Saladi) and Steven Kramer.

Frances was a devoted catholic all of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bethlehem and faithfully attended mass every Sunday. Frances enjoyed cutting the hedges in her yard and also playing bingo on Monday nights.

She will be dearly missed by her three sons, Donald G. Eckhart, Dennis (Carol) Eckhart, and David C. Eckhart; daughter, Diane S. Kovacs; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eckhart; sister, Dorothy Bartholomew; brother, Richard Kramer; and her son-in-law, James Kovacs.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home.
