Frances Cardona

Frances Cardona, 85, formerly of Bethlehem passed away Tuesday December 20, 2011 at Luther Crest Skilled Nursing Home in Allentown, Pa. She was born on December 23, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pa. daughter of the late Paul and Anna Yurgitis Abromovich.

Frances devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and camping throughout most of the United States.

She will be lovingly remembered by her significant other for over 40 years, Ernie Gregory, sons, David Cardona of Northampton, Florito Cardona of Bethlehem, and Richard Cardona of Kunkletown, Pa., daughters, Elena Horan of Bath, Roseanna Pysher and Angela Cardona both of Emmaus, and Linda Conklin, and Lucinda Wieand both of Allentown, sister, Helen Werner of Easton, 20 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Abroms.

Services will be held 9AM Saturday December 24, 2011 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 9:30AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. Calling hours will be from 8-9AM Saturday morning at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour.
