Frances E. Long

Frances E. Long, 93, of Bethlehem, passed into the Lord's hands on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at her home at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. Born in Fountain Hill on February 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Teresa Lang. She was the loving wife of Thomas Long, who preceded her in death in 2013. They were married 63 years.

Frances is survived by a daughter, Diane (Long) Rice and husband, Michael, and a son, David Long and wife, Alice. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.

Frances was trained as a legal secretary and was employed at several law offices in the Lehigh Valley. She was employed by Lehigh Wholesale in the 1960s and 1970s and was a wife and mother to her two children. She enjoyed traveling across the country, and, for many years, spending winters with Tom in their home in Bradenton, FL.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
