Frances Ferrani

Frances “Baba” Ferrani died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twonship and was reunited in Heaven with her husband John Ferrani, Sr., who passed away September 1982. She loved to play bingo and help bake Ukrainian cookies, kiffles and food. She always displayed her positive attitude during her many health issues. Frances never gave up and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Frances devoted her life to her family and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She worked at Hesss in Allentown and loved her job. She cherished every moment with her family and friends.

Frances was born and raised in Cementon, PA the daughter of the late Mary (Oleschak) and George Mahalik. She was a 1943 graduate of Whitehall High School.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, John Ferrani Jr. and wife Pam, of Lower Saucon Township and James S. Ferrani and wife Audrey of Coopersburg, daughters, Mary Ann wife of Jonathan Eastman of DE and Cynthia Lee wife of Joe Balshi of Bethlehem, sister, June Machalak of Valhalla, NY and five grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Kristi, Ashley and Noah. She was preceded in death by her infant son, John Ferrani.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa 18018 from 6-8 p.m. and again Thursday morning from 9-10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton, PA 18067 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Josaphats Cemetery in Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Frances name to the American Cancer Society 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
