Frances I. Fanzo

Frances I. Adamek Fanzo, 80 , of Hellertown, died on Friday, November 4, 2011 at her daughter's Residence in Nazareth surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born, in Bethlehem, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Dziegl Adamek and the wife of the late John V. Fanzo who died in 1995.



Frances was a machine operator at the former Muriel Dress Co. in Bethlehem for many years. Frances was an entrepreneur from her own home with her exceptional baking business, she specialized in kiffles nut rolls, and tossies and ran her business for many years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing in Atlantic City and Ocean City, NJ.

Frances will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Donna M. Hester and husband Ted of Nazareth, PA, JoAnn Van Horn and her husband Richard of Quakertown, PA , son John F. Fanzo and wife Harriet of Chesterton, IN, brother Sam Adamek of Hellertown, PA, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, parents, brother Richard Adamek and two sisters Eleanor Novak and Helen Breidinger.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
