Frances M. Blaukovitch

Frances M. Blaukovitch, 85, of Bethlehem died on Monday, June 20, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late John F. Blaukovitch who died in 1998. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Fokszej Kwiatek.

Frances was a member of University Parish of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She and her husband owned and operated the former Johnny's Grocery on Broadway and Fiat in Bethlehem years ago.

Frances will be lovingly remembered by her son Thomas P. Kwiatek and his wife Louise of Bethlehem and their children Alison, wife of Sean Sweeney of Cherry Hill, N.J. and Meredith of Wayne, PA. Also surviving is a sister Stephanna Melinsky of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by brothers Henry and Sigmund Kwiatek and daughter Mary Margaret Blaukovitch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at University Parish of Holy Ghost, 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem at 10:00am on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Friends may call from 8:30 - 9:30am in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
