Frances M. Covino

Frances M. Covino, 86, of Bethlehem died peacefully Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem, Pa. Frances was the wife of the late Peter Covino, who died in 1994. Born in Bethlehem, Pa. she was the daughter of the late John Demyan and Veronica (Gasdaska) Demyan. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish in Bethlehem. She worked for Bethlehem Steel Company as a private waitress for 22 years retiring in 1982. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Anthony P. and wife Jamie J. of Bethlehem Twp., daughter Sandra A. (Spess) and husband Michael of Orlando, Fl., grandson Adam A. Covino of Allentown, step grandsons, Andrew Kroeger of Easton, Michael Kroeger of Charleston, SC., sisters, Theresa Ginesi of Lower Saucon Twp; Dorothy Green of Bethlehem, Pa., Marsha Fielden of Cheshire, Conn., and Nancy Zimmer of Longwood, Fl., sister in law, Bernadete (Daday) Demyan of Hanover Twp., brother in law , Joseph Covino of Bethlehem, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and mother and also a brother John Demyan Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday February 6, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. Calling hours will be from 10-11am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
