Frances P Kucey

Mrs. Frances P. Kucey of Bethlehem died Tuesday December 16th at her daughter Janet Kovalchick's home in Lower Macungie, Pa.

She was the widow of the late Stephen Kucey who died in 1994.

Born in Bethlehem she is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sokol Piff.

Mrs. Kucey had been a devoted life-long member of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bethlehem where she was active with St. Joseph's Women's Guild and always attended and enjoyed the church events.

Frances was always on the go and had many loves; including dancing, musikfest, the pleasure of cooking especially her kiffels, and most of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her two daughters: Janet wife of Andrew Kovalchick of Macungie and Mary Jane wife of David Repnyek of Bethlehem, her son Stephen F. Kucey, Jr. of Bethlehem, her four grandchildren; Mary J. and Andrew J.Kovalchick and David J. and Marc Repnyek and her three great grandchildren Geoffrey, Quinton and Zack.

She was preceded in death by her sisters; Marie Kvochak and Anne Schrei and her brothers Louis and Frank.

Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3229 Santee Road Bethlehem.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday 8:15 a.m.

to 9: 15 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pa.
