Francis B. Baran

Francis Bernard Baran, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at his residence.

He was born in Bethlehem the son of the late John and Barbara Sopko Baran.

Francis is survived by his wife Anna Werkman Baran of Bethlehem.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Francis will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anna and children, Margaret Baran of Quakertown; Ann wife of Jim Silvius of Quakertown John Baran of Bethlehem and Francine wife of Paul Hancz of Bethlehem Twp. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren and his brother Mike Baran of Berea, OH.

Francis was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, Anna, Veronica, Elizabeth, and Sister Mary Claire and brothers John, Monsignor Joseph, and Steve.

A visitation will be held on Thursday November 29, 2007 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. from 8:30-9:30AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday November 29, 2007 at 10AM at Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem PA 18015
