Francis Joseph Taglang

Francis Joseph Taglang, 94, of Moravian Villlage, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at St.Lukes Hospital.

He was born in Bethlehem the son of the late Joseph J. and Anna M. Stoll Taglang.

Francis was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Evelyn C. Taglang on October 13, 2007.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Francis retired from the Bethlehem Steel Co. in 1976 after 40 years of service as an Administrative Assistant in the former Steel Division.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

Francis will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Kathleen L. wife of Frederick McGuiney and Susan J. wife of Bruce Fink all of Bethlehem. Francis is also survived by his grandchildren, Kelly Hinshaw, Wendy McGuiney, and Darren and Michael Fink; three great grandchildren; his brother, Alfred Taglang of Bethlehem; as well as his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Lawrence.

Francis was a member of the Bethlehem MORA Club. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid golfer with his highlight being a Hole in One.

Services are under the guidance of Connell Funeral Home, Inc. Bethlehem and are private at the convenience of the family.
