Francis P. Sefranek

Francis P. Sefranek, 71, of Hellertown, died Saturday, February 24, 2007 in his home.

He was born November 6, 1935 in Bethlehem, the son of the late John and Mary Petrick Sefranek. He was the loving husband of the late Regina Wydock Sefranek who died in 1996.

Francis worked as an electrician and mechanic for Just Born Candies for 44 years before retiring in 1997. He also worked part-time as a Policeman in Lower Saucon Twp. from 1960-1979. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960.

Francis was a past president of South Eastern Fire Co., in Lower Saucon Twp., a life member of Sewyco Fire Co. and Leithsville Fire Co. and a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church of Hellertown.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Shawn P. Sefranek & his wife Theresa of Hellertown; daughter, Rochelle Schaller & her husband Mark of Mertztown; brothers, John Sefranek of Bethlehem; Charlie Sefranek of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Wilma Finch of Los Angeles, CA; and his grandson, Colin Schaller. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Glass and a brother, Edward Sefranek.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church 1408 Easton Rd. Hellertown. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, from 8:45-9:45 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA Memorials may be made to the Church.
