Francis Stephen Katrinak

January 12, 1924 — November 22, 2007

Francis S. Katrinak, 83, of Bethlehem died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born January 12, 1924 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Theresa Novotne and Martin Katrinak.

Francis worked at the Bethlehem Steel for 40 years with the blast furnaces and retiring as a foreman. He served his country honorably for six years in the U.S. Air Force during World War II flying 32 missions. He was a member of the Hellertown American Legion and also the National Sokols. Frank was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and bowler at the former Bethlehem Steel Club.

Francis will be loving remembered by his son Frank Katrinak, Jr., daughter Christine Naeyaert, brother, Andrew Katrinak, sisters; Theresa Svajko and Rose Dzierbicki.

He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews.

He was peceded in death by his three sisters; Margaret Katrinak, Anna Anderko, and Mary Pingyar.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held Wednesday November 28, 2007 from 9-10 AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Inc.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church in Frank?s name.
