Francis X. Goyanes, Iii

Francis "Frank" X. Goyanes, III., 71, of Bethlehem Township, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Ruth (Crosson) and Francis X. Goyanes, Jr. He was the loving husband of Jacquelyn (Dilger) Goyanes.

Frank graduated from Lehigh University and began working for Bethlehem Steel, finishing his career at Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation as Director of International Sales and Product Manager for Forged Rolls. Frank had a passion for knowledge, and never stopped trying to learn about new things or places. He loved astronomy and stargazing, complicated puzzles of all kinds and geography. Frank never missed an opportunity to travel to new places and immerse himself in the local culture.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Jacquelyn Goyanes; daughters, Carolyn Clayton and her husband, Dave and Lori Fratangelo and her husband, Geoff; son, Michael Goyanes and his wife, Alice. Frank had four grandchildren, Evelyn, Lillian, Jack and Brennan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 beginning at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
