Francisco M. Pinho

Francisco M. Pinho, 106, of Bethlehem, passed on Saturday, November 9, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born in Murtosa, Portugal; he was the son of the late Domingos and Custodia (Ruela) Pinho. He was the husband of the late Lucinda (Campos) Pinho.

He spent the first 70 years of his life in Portugal where he worked as a fisherman. He moved to the United States to be with family where he spent time in both Florida and Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Alfredo Pinho and wife, Lucillia, Jose Pinho and wife, Generosa, Domingos Pinho and wife, Joana, Maria Amador and husband, Manuel and Antonio Pinho and wife, Maria; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Wednesday, November 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, 18015. Burial will take place in Murtosa, Portugal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holy Infancy Catholic Church.
