Frank G. Holzer

Frank G. Holzer, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on April 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Michael and Katherine Kohler Holzer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, RoseMarie Epsaro Holzer.

Frank was a firefighter for the city of Bethlehem for 30 years and also drove bus for the Bethlehem Area School District for 12 years. He was a decorated veteran of the Army having served during the Korean Conflict, and a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, RoseMarie, son , John and wife Karen, daughters, Diane Harpel and husband Tom, and Sharon Transue, grandsons, Christopher, John, Kyle, and Ryan, great grandsons, Blake and Jake. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday March 23rd in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem. A viewing will be held in the church on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
