Frank G. Wintergrass, 81, formerly of Stafore Estates, Hanover Township, died on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Blough Health Care Center in Bethlehem, PA.

He was born January 1, 1926 in Glen Lyon, Luzerne County, PA and was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy Zabriski Wintergrass. Frank was the husband of Rita Rubel Wintergrass of Easton, PA with whom he would have celebrated 54 years of marriage in April.

Frank served in the U.S. Marines during WW II in the Pacific Theater. He was a graduate of Wilkes College. Frank was an Industrial Engineer at the former Western Electric where he retired after 34 years of service. He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rita, two daughters Deborah W. Klotz and her husband Peter of York, PA and Kim W. Kortze and her husband Albert of Nazareth, a sister Shirley Domzalski of Nanticoke, PA and four grandsons Brian Klotz of Corning, NY, Timothy Klotz and wife Sarah of York, PA, Eric Klotz of York, Joshua Kortze and granddaughter Aubrey Kortze of Nazareth, PA.



Frank is predeceased by his parents and a sister Lenora Rasavage.

Friends may call at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
