Frank L. Rayner, 89, of Bethlehem passed away on Tuesday January 16, 2018 peacefully in his home. He was born on September 29, 1928 in Bethlehem, son of the late Ivan and Cecelia (Skledar) Rayner, and brother of the late Mary Ann “Polly” Rayner. He was the husband to the late Helen (Osio) Rayner for 50 years. He lived his entire life in Bethlehem graduating from Liberty High School. He then enlisted in the Army and served his time during the Korean War. He was employed by Western Electric where he remained for almost 40 years. He shared with his wife a passion for gardening and enjoyed his occasional trip to Atlantic City or the Sands here in Bethlehem. He was an avid sports fan and on his final weekend he enjoyed a playoff victory by his beloved Eagles.

Frank will be fondly remembered by his brother, Steven and wife Phyllis, caring uncle to Susan Rayner and Janet Ciliotta, great uncle to Kara, Steven, and Keith, great great uncle to Jackson, and loving cousin to Geraldine Wert and family, Gerri Ann, Joe, and John.

A viewing will be held on Saturday January 20, 2018 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa 18018 from 12:00-1:30p.m. with a service immediately to follow. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
