Frank LaBar, 87, of Bethlehem, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Hospice House of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. He was born November 9, 1919 in Bethlehem, the son of the late Vendell and Fannie Preletz LaBar. He was the loving husband of Ann Domyan LaBar. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this past December 16th.
Frank worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a truck driver for 38 years before retiring in 1981. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Bethlehem.
Frank will be lovingly remembered by: his wife Ann, a son, Francis M. LaBar & his wife Roxann of Catasauqua; daughters, Barbara, wife of Jack McMurtrie of Allentown; Linda, wife of Richard Williams of Emerald; four grandchildren, Stacy, Brent, Ryan & Ashley and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jenna & Baby Claire.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 416 E. 5th Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
