Frank M. Donchez

Frank M. Donchez, 76, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on July 19, 2023, at St. Lukes Hospice House. He was the husband of Lorraine (Folajtar) Donchez. Frank was born on February 26, 1947, in Allentown, the son of the late Frank C. and Margaret M. (Stern) Donchez. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Lehigh University-Electrical Engineering program. Frank worked as a draftsman at Bethlehem Steel and, continued his career at Mack Trucks-Electrical Engineer until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Lorraine of 53 years, son; Ryan Donchez, Bethlehem Twp, daughter; Gena (Dan) Sakers, Ocean View, NJ, grandchildren; Kevin, Sean, Keira Sakers, Chad Donchez and Gage Strouse. Frank is also survived by brother; Joseph (Audrey) Donchez, sisters; Joanne (Phil) Wagner, Margaret/Robert Eliason, and sister-in-law; JoAnn Becker. He was predeceased by his brother, Harry F. (Sonny) Becker, and sister; Elizabeth (Betty) Becker-Iannelli.

Family and friends are invited to call 11am-11:45am Monday July 24, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12noon. Interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Masses in Frank’s name.
