Frank Scheck

Mr. Frank Scheck, 92, of Bethlehem died September 24, 2008 at Praxis in Easton, PA. He and his wife, Mary Dacetski Scheck celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary this past August. He was the son of the late Ferencz and Katalin Forjan Sekh.

Frank retired from the Bethlehem Steel Co. in 1969 after 35 years of service. He was a general foreman in the Auxiliary Yard, Saucon Shipping.

He was a member of the former Hungarian Reformed Church in Bethlehem, the N.E. Wanderers, Jefferson Democratic Club, Heights A.A. and the former Bethlehem Steel Club. Frank, who for many years served as a starter at Saucon Valley Country Club, enjoyed golfing and was especially passionate about his garden.

Surviving with his wife are 2 sons; Frank J. and his wife Judith of Bethlehem and Donald M. and his wife Dianne of Bethlehem Twp.; a sister Margaret Sahaydak of Fountain Hill; 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Scheck, Kerry Scheck Cooper, David Scheck and Thomas Scheck; and 2 great grandchildren, Kailin and Kendall Cooper.

Funeral Services: 1PM Friday, September 26 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Friends may call one hour prior to service.

Burial to follow in Bethlehem Memorial Park.
