Frank W Blatnik, Jr.

Frank W. Blatnik, Jr., 66 of Bethlehem, passed away on June 2, 2022. Born on May 15, 1956, the son of the late Theresa A. (Brauchle) and Frank W. Blatnik, Sr. He was the loving husband of Margaret M. (Klemer) Blatnik.

Frank was known to many as "Bulldog." After graduating from Freedom High School, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Frank worked at the Bethlehem Steel and also at Taylor-Wharton, later retiring from the Allentown State Hospital where he held multiple positions. He was a die-hard Eagles fan. He enjoyed coaching his son's youth sports teams, trips to Wildwood Crest and especially being at every one of his grandson's sporting events. Frank was a member of the Hellertown American Legion as well as other private social clubs in Bethlehem.

He will be loving remembered by his wife of 38 years, Margaret M. Blatnik; son, Frank W. Blatnik, III.; grandson, Tyler James Blatnik; sister, Barbara Ann (Blatnik) Curry and her husband, Robert. Best friend, Rich Spevak and also Barbara McCarroll and step grandson, Jayden Keeling. Frank was preceded in death by his cousin, Carol Morse of Toledo, OH.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
