Frank W. Petrie

Frank W. Petrie, 85, of Bethlehem passed away with his wife by his side on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Born on February 20, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy Petrie. He was the loving husband of Caroline M. (Hann) Petrie.

Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, a WWII veteran. Before his retirement, Frank served as President and CEO of B. Braun. As a member of Northampton County Country Club, he and Caroline enjoyed many rounds of golf together. Their second home in Myrtle Beach resided adjacent to the 17th green of Myrtlewood, giving them ample opportunity to further pursue their golf passion. Daily walks on the beach too were a favorite of Franks. He also enjoyed woodworking and trips to the casino.

He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 66 years, Caroline; sons, Frank W. Petrie, Jr. and Michael Petrie and his wife, Debra; daughter, Kate Dodig and her husband Dave; sister, Lucille Pickel ; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Petrie, Jr.

Services will be held privately.
