Fred J. Stellato

Fred J. Stellato, 85, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was born in Bethlehem, son of Antoinette (Bambu) and Louis Stellato. Fred was the husband of the late Theresa (Maio) Stellato.

Fred proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed cars, cooking, playing cards, going out for breakfast and being with his family. Nothing brought him more joy than going to watch his grandchildren at their events.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Roxanne, wife of David Peters, Frederick Stellato, husband of Deb, and Alison, wife of Ralph Gargiulo; longtime companion, Carol Rabenold; brother, Eugene Stellato; sister, Louise Schaeffer; grandchildren, Kristen, Nicholas, Alli, Jay, Dana, Julianna, Zachary, Karina and Kylie and step daughters, Barbara Bellenoit and Georgine Rabenold. Fred was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Tartaglia and Anna Stellato.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-9 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, make memorial contributions to Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, 245 N. Graham St. Allentown, PA 18109.
