Frieda Yost

Frieda Yost, 89, of Northampton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Born on February 15, 1929 in Rabafuzes, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Fredrika (Trinkle) and Julius Weber. She was the loving wife of Joseph E. Yost for 66 years before his passing in March of 2018.

Frieda was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church where she was a member of the Prime Time seniors club. Frieda was full of wit and she enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking. Her life was her family and she loved and cherished every moment with them.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Frieda Weeks and her husband John of Palmerton, son, Joseph Yost and his wife Sherry of Kunkletown and daughter Diane Beil and her husband Richard of Northampton; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Frieda was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Boandl and brother, Julius Weber.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 9-10:30 A.M. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 417 Carlton Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Church.
