George Brown, Jr.

It is with quiet sadness that we announce the passing of George T. Brown, Jr. of South Whitehall Township, who left us on April 1, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on February 13, 1947, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late George T. Brown, Sr., and Agnes (Wardenski) Yochum.

George earned his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northampton Community College. A lover of all things mechanical and inventive, George spent his days bringing ideas to life. His home was filled with tools, gadgets and projects, reflecting a mind that never stopped exploring. George had a unique gift for understanding how things worked his curiosity and steady determination were his trademarks.

What set George apart was his youthful energy-a mind and heart that stayed young despite the years. He approached life with a sense of wonder, eager to share his inventions, discoveries, and knowledge with everyone around him. He lit up with excitement when teaching others, finding joy in seeing someone else's eyes brighten as they learned something new. Whether it was a friend, a family member, or a fellow enthusiast, George had an innate gift for making the complex simple and the difficult feel achievable.

He is survived by Cousins, Gregory Wardenski, Rosalie Yochum, Joe Grello, Donna Grello, Patty Amadore, Rhonda Silfies, Scott Grello, Christopher Grello, Sandra Dorney and will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10-12:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
