George H. White

George H. White, 66, passed away in the early hours of November 25, 2023. He was born on March 13, 1957, in Philadelphia to the late George H. White Sr. and Ruth (Grow) White. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Nancy (Duh) White. He had three siblings, sisters Sherry Burns and Patricia Pettebone, and brother Albert White. He had four loving children: Jennifer Romano (Pete), Jason White (Stephanie), Jamie Yocum (Jake), and Kayla Morales (Roger), three step-children: Nicholas Bio (Melissa), Robin Nieto (Jose), and Samantha Hall (Ryan), eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

George was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where his funeral service will be held. It is his heart that leaves an immense impression in the memories of friends and family who loved him. George was his happiest when he was helping his loved ones. He often did this through his wealth of knowledge he gained working as a carpenter. There wasn’t much he could not fix or build even spending years building and perfecting the home he shared with Nancy and best friend Lily, a white lab who never left his side. George had a great sense of humor which was always on full display while playing with his grandchildren. For many years, George was a truck driver for Koller Concrete. He loved hunting, fishing, and country music, even going to over 40 different live shows. He will be missed by friends, family, and all who knew him, but we can find solace in knowing that his life in Heaven begins anew where he can look down on his legacy and smile.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 9-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1817 1st St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
