George J. Libricz, Sr.

George J. Libricz, Sr., 92, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. He was the son of the late Mary (Samenig) and Charles Libricz. He was the husband of the late Mary Louise (Grossett) Libricz.

George proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel and the Reading and Conrail Railroads. George enjoyed volunteering his time at Radprin Radio at Northampton Community College, the Da Vinci Center, WDIY Radio as a laborer and on air host, Boys Scouts of America and North Central Little League.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Lois Hollopeter and her husband, Mark and Laura Stockley and her husband, Graham; sons, George J. Libricz, Jr. and his wife, Noran and Carl Libricz and his wife, Jutta; grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Megan, Debbie, Stacy, Yvonne and Jan and great grandchildren, Michael, Evan, Sophie, Molly, Sarah and Finley. George was preceded in death by his brothers and sister.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
