George M. Belcak, Jr., 67, of Bethlehem Twp., died suddenly on Sunday, July 24, 2016. He was born in Fountain Hill, the son of the late George M. Belcak, Sr. and Helen (Bresnak) Belcak. He was the loving husband to Alice (Ratz) Belcak. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past August.
George worked as a Diesel Mechanic for the Lanta Bus Company retiring in 2011 after 40 years of service. He loved playing poker, he was a member of the East Bath Gun Club, American Legion Riders, an avid hunter, a member of the Hokendauqua Legion; and had quite a green thumb for their indoor plants.
George proudly served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem Twp.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice; his daughter, Jennifer Morales and husband JuanCarlos and granddaughter, Olivia of Bethlehem.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Georges family is encouraging those who ride motorcycle to please ride on Friday as a tribute to George.
