George M. Borso

George M. Borso, 61, of Bethlehem Twp., died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in Bethlehem. Born June 27, 1945 in Bethlehem, he was the son of Mary Svirzovsky Borso of Bethlehem and the late George Borso.

He was the loving husband of Susan Gimpert Borso of Bethlehem Twp. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past May 8th. George worked for Norfolk Southern Company for 29 years. He also helped out with Jaman's Florist. George served his country proudly during Vietnam in the U.S. Air force. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Bethlehem Twp., the ICC Club, Wanderer's and Roosevelt Democratic Club and also a member of the American Legion.

He will be lovingly remembered by, his wife and mother, son, Mike Borso and wife Lori of Bethlehem Township, daughter, Lori, wife of Brad Stuber of South Whitehall Twp., brother, Francis Borso of Fountain Hill; three sisters, Mary Ann Rozman of Georgia, Jane Fisk of Palmer Twp., Kathleen Borso of Bethlehem; and one granddaughter, Erika.

Services:

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday October 23, 2006 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020 on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 10:00 AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
