George M. Lanski, Jr.

April 25, 1934 — December 22, 2009

George M. Lanski, Jr., 75, of Easton, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services in Bethlehem. He was born in Wilson, PA; the son of the late George M., Sr. and Anne Wilchak Lanski. He was the loving husband of Eloise C. Eberle Lanski. They celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary this past October.

George graduated from Wilson High School. He worked for Reigel Paper in Milford, NJ for 37 years as a paper maker. He also worked part-time at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth; and Yeager's Hellertown and Hess in Bethlehem.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp.; where he was a greeter. He belonged to the Northampton County Choral Group at NCC; he was an avid snow mobiler and golfer and caddied at Northampton Country Club for ten years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Eloise, son, Michael Lanski of

Bethlehem; daughter, Jennifer, wife of Jeffrey Boerstler of Bethlehem, and his five

grandchildren, Samantha, Olivia , Jeffrey Boerstler, Randall & Ariana Counsman.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, January 02, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the church.

Connell Funeral Home, Inc. Bethlehem is in charge of the arrangements.
