Gerald P. Doyle

Gerald P. Doyle, 69, of Bethlehem, died, surrounded by his wife and sons, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on April 8, 1941, he was the son of the late Richard and Eleanor McGee Doyle. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Darlene M. Carraghan Doyle.

Gerald worked in the steel fabrication industry, employed by Bethlehem Fabricators then SmitHahn Co. for the past 15 years before retiring in 2009. He was a member of the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and was a veteran of the Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Darlene, sons, Mark and Tim, and brothers, Richard, Robert, Joseph, and Dennis. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday March 11th from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem. Burial will be in the Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
