Gerald "Jerry" R. Pascucci Sr., 79, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 24, 1945, in Hudson, PA, he was the son of Edith and Jerry Pascucci. After graduating from Plains High School, Jerry dedicated seven years of service to Pennsylvania's Army National Guard. Shortly before he left for basic training, he proposed to his beloved wife, Dorothy. They would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on June 4th.
In 1967, Jerry and Dorothy moved to the Lehigh Valley, where Jerry began a long and fulfilling 41-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, all while raising their family. Jerry's love for the outdoors was boundless-he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, gardening, Indy car racing, and following the New York Yankees. But his greatest joy was spending time with his wife and their dog Benji, family and friends, and especially his grandchildren. Whether cheering them on from the sidelines at baseball and softball games, volleyball games, track meets, wrestling matches, lacrosse games, "Nunu" was their biggest fan.
Known for his selflessness, patience, and kindness, Jerry was a man whose heart was as big as his character. His gentle nature and genuine love for others made him a friend to all. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him considered themselves lucky to have experienced his warmth and generosity.
Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy; daughters Denise and Wendy (husband Paul); son Jerry Jr. (partner Diane); grandchildren Jerry III (wife Jordan), Tori, Lexi, Braydon, Logan, and great-granddaughter Collyns; brothers Frankie (wife Geraldine) and Carmen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
