Geraldine F. Kiefer

Geraldine F. Kiefer, 85, formerly of Bethlehem and most recently of Allentown, passed away on August 24, 2022. Born on March 14, 1937 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Marie A. (Amberg) and John J. Burke.

Geraldine graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School. She worked for Lehigh University in Wood Catering.

She will be dearly missed by her five children, Anastasia Morganello, Philip Morganello, Monica Weber, Claudia Morganello, and Martin Morganello; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her twin brother, Gerald Burke; sister, Rita Marie Donchez; the father of her surviving children, Joseph Morganello Jr.; and her husband, James Kiefer.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will begin at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Ghost Church, 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
