Gertrude Orban, 93, of Bethlehem died Friday November 3, 2006 at her residence. She was born on February 9, 1913 in Bethlehem daughter of the late Peter and Anna Chazar Orban.
Gertrude was employed by Laros Silk Mill and the Fountain Hill Mill Works for many years retiring in 1975. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She loved sports especially the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers, and the Phillies. She always had a great sense of humor and had a talent for making people laugh.
She will be lovingly remembered by several nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers- Frank Orban, Joseph Orban, and John Orban, and sisters- Mary Orban and Helen Orban.
