Geza C. Rogacs

Geza C. Rogacs, 84, of Bethlehem died Monday August 10, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services in Easton, Pa. He was born on June 8, 1925 in Bethlehem son of the late Michael and Mary Horvath Rogacs. He was the husband of the late Helen E. Tokay Rogacs.

Geza worked in the shipping yard at Bethlehem Steel for 42 years retiring in December of 1986. He was a member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church in Fountain Hill. He served his country in the US Navy during WW2. Geza was also a member of the First Windish Fraternal Society of America, USWU Local #2599, Bethlehem Mora Club and the Fountain Hill Hose Co.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Helen E. Wied and her husband Kenneth of Bethlehem, Elizabeth Holland and her husband Bruce of Bethlehem, sons, Geza Michael and his wife Valerie of Saffron Walden, England, Joseph W. Spisak and his wife Marie of Bethlehem, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren , brother Louis Rogacs of Bethlehem, sisters, Elizabeth Leseberg of Bethlehem, and Marie Perez of Chicago.

He was predeceased by a daughter Kathleen Hassay and a brother Joseph Rogacs.

A Funeral Service will be held 11AM on Saturday August 15, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A calling hour will be from 10-11AM Saturday morning at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery
