Geza D. Soos

Geza D. Soos, 84, died on Friday, November 11, 2011 at his home in South Bethlehem.

He was born March 29, 1927; the son of the late Joseph and Anna Soos.

Geza was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Kristofik Soos.

He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. after working in the Beam Yard for 40 years and was a member of the United Steelworkers Local 2599.

Geza was a parishioner of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church and was more recently a parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, Bethlehem.

Geza will be lovingly remembered by his children, Edward W. Soos; Joanne McRell and her husband, Gary all of Bethlehem and Kathleen Toth and her husband Leonard of Bethlehem Twp. as well as five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Snyder, Margaret Barthold and Anna Gomez and his brothers, Andrew and Joseph Soos and a daughter Karen.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 6-8 PM and again on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 8:30-9:30AM at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Tuesday at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
