Geza W. Leposa

October 3, 1925 — July 4, 2013

Geza W. Leposa, 87, formerly of 222 E. Union Blvd. Bethlehem, died on Thursday, July 4, 2013. He was born October 3, 1925 in Bethlehem; son of the late Miklus and Fannie (Kucsan)Leposa. Geza was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Madeline (O'Donnell) Leposa.

Geza proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He was aboard the USS Dade in the Pacific Theatre. He was a 1951 graduate of Muhlenberg College and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Geza worked as an accountant for the former Hellertown Manufacturing Co. Champion Spark Plug. He was a member of St. John Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. He was a member of H. Stanley Goodwin Lodge #648 F. and A. M as well as the N.E. Wanderers Athletic Assoc.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Martin Leposa and his wife, Andrea of Center Valley; daughters, Michele Raguso and her husband Bart Herndon, VA and Melissa Cherry and her husband Kenneth of Frederick, MD; his sister Olga Donchez and her husband, Edward of Bethlehem as well as nine grandchildren, Trevor and Reagan Leposa; Madeline, Jaelen, Justin and Jordan Cherry and Anton, Ariel and Aerin Raguso. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Giselle; sister, Mary Sahaydak and his brother, Louie Laposa.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. John Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, 617 E. 4th St., Bethlehem. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
