Gilberto "Junior" Lopez

Gilberto “Junior” Lopez, Jr., 47, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Born on May 13, 1975, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Gilberto Lopez Sr. and Carmen J. Bonilla.

After attending Liberty High School, he went on to join the trade profession. He currently worked as a mason for U.S. Stone and Stucco.

Outside of work, Junior loved spending time with his daughters and his dog, Nova.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Lopez, and his nephews: Joshua and Raymond Lopez.

Junior will be lovingly remembered by three daughters: Jasmyn N. Butryn, Ariel J. Lopez, and Dakotah S. Figueroa (Cpl. Jayden Figueroa); three brothers: Gilbert Lopez, Alexander Lopez, and Tony Bonilla; one sister: Sandra Lopez; ex-wife: Jacqueline Hanna-Lopez; and his step-father: Rafael Alvarez.

A viewing will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 11:30am until the time of the service, in the funeral home, at 1:30pm.
