Gilberto Torres

Gilberto Torres, 67, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 19, 1955, in Ciales, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Pedro Torres and Maria Morales.

Gilberto would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need---no matter what, he was there to help. He was a longtime member at Holy Infancy Church, Bethlehem and in his free time, he enjoyed playing dominos. Gilberto was a tremendous family manhe was a great father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He will be dearly missed by all of those who loved and cherished him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Carlos and Gilberto Torres; two daughters, Arelis Torres and Wilnelia Torres; three brothers, Ramon, Luis, and Pedro Torres; three sisters, Carmen Torres, Margarita Rosado, and Angelica Torres; seven grandchildren, Ethan, Daralyn, Carlos, Xavian, Nakya, Julian, and Jonathan; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gilberto is preceded in death by his four brothers, Roberto, Jose, Eguenio, and Miguel; and his sister, Digna.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 8-9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Infancy Church, 315 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
