Gizella "Grace" M. Sopko

Gizella M. “Grace” Sopko, 100, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Libricz) Zavecz and the loving wife of the late Nicholas P. Sopko. Grace dedicated her life to her family. She was a parishioner of the former St. John Capistrano Church of Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Patricia, wife of John Sefranek of Bethlehem, Christine, wife of Antonio Santos of Bethlehem Twp., and Sandra Morando Sopko of Port St. Lucie, FL; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; and her brother, John. She was predeceased by her son, Richard; brothers: Joseph, Frank, and William; sisters: Theresa Bauman, Dorothy Zilverfarb, Mary Zaun, and Helen Carl.

Visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Saturday, July 11, from 10 to 11 a.m. An 11 a.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
