Gladys F. Cope

Gladys F. Cope, 77, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, August 4, 2012. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Bright) Hafler. She was the wife of the late George E. Cope, Sr., they were married 51 years. Gladys was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church of Bethlehem. She was a seamstress for Sure Fit and Bethlehem Togs. Gladys was an avid embroiderer and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, George E. Cope, Jr. and wife, Pamela, and Ronald Cope and wife, Marie; daughter, Diana Zettlemoyer and husband, Joel; sister, Beatrice Strohl, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by 3 sisters, and 2 grandsons.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where viewing hours will be held on Wednesday August 8th from 6-8PM and Thursday August 9th from 10-11AM A 11 a.m. service will follow, held in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery of Bethlehem.
